The Spring Co-Ed Core Draft League ("Spring League") takes place between early April and Late May. Started nearly a decade ago to give out-of-shape Ultimate players a reason to get in shape for the summer, Spring League has grown to between 30 and 40 teams each season and ranks among UC's most popular leagues. Typically the league will have three divisions:
- Advanced
- Competative
- Recreational
All divisions will play at a 4:3 gender ratio if registration allows. Teams are formed by groups of players forming a "Core". Depending on the rules in place in a given year, the cores will rang in size from 8 - 10 players and be capped at a total number of points (the sum of the players Expierience, Skill & Athelicism ratings).
The rest of the roster is formed by a live draft process in each division. Any player not associated with a core can register to enter the draft.
